Radiological Emergency Preparedness

The Wisconsin Emergency Management Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program (REP) coordinates the state response effort to provide local and Tribal governments planning and training guidance to provide reasonable assurance to public safety involving the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)-licensed commercial nuclear power plants.

Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)

Wisconsin Emergency Management/ State Emergency Response Commission (WEM/SERC) is responsible for implementing the federal Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) also known as the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 at the state and local levels.
