WASHINGTON – Wisconsin businesses and residents affected by the tornado on May 16, 2017 can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration, SBA Administrator Linda McMahon announced today.
CHICAGO – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released $630,399 in Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) funds to the city of River Falls, Wisconsin, for the construction of a safe room at Glen Park.
MADISON – Governor Scott Walker has asked the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to view tornado damage and meet with local and state officials in Barron and Rusk counties. The information gathered could be used to request the SBA provide federal low-interest loans to homeowners, renters, and businesses that suffered damage during last month’s EF 3 tornado.
