The Wisconsin Governor’s Conference on Emergency Management and Homeland Security is a premier event dedicated to building a more resilient future and helping communities across Wisconsin better prepare for the unexpected.

Over the course of two days, attendees engage in a diverse range of sessions on six focus tracks. Each track is designed to provide valuable information and skills relevant to specific aspects of emergency management and homeland security.

  • Public Health and Community Resilience: Explore how public health is an investment to building a foundation to help a community not only survive but thrive during difficult times.
  • Managing Cyber and Physical Threats: Broadens awareness and knowledge of cyber and physical threats and effective countermeasures.
  • Current and Emerging Trends: Stay ahead of the curve on the latest challenges that are influencing our fields.

Call for Abstracts

Abstract submission is closed for the 2025 Wisconsin Governor’s Conference on Emergency Management and Homeland Security. The next submission period will be starting in late summer 2025.

Conference Awards

Thank you for your interest in nominating someone for a service, mentorship, or lifetime achievement award. Nominations are closed for the 2025 conference and the winners will be announced on March 11 at the conference. Nominations for the 2026 conference awards will reopen in fall 2025.
