MADISON – Governor Scott Walker has announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will conduct a Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) next week in 17 Wisconsin counties hit hard by flooding and tornadoes.  FEMA officials will begin looking at flood-damaged homes and public infrastructure on September 24. MADISON – Governor Scott Walker today approved a $2.8 million emergency contract to reconstruct two US 14 bridges in Black Earth damaged by flooding in August. Governor Walker declared a State of Emergency in Wisconsin on August 29, 2018 because of wide-spread flooding and storm damage in numerous counties.
COON VALLEY – Wisconsin homeowners and businesses impacted by the recent flooding will be eligible for financial assistance for repair, cleanup and other costs under two new programs that will provide up to $4 million in funding, Governor Scott Walker announced today.
