Wisconsin Emergency Management coordinates working groups with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop job titles and qualification sets for WI-CAMS. Guidance is subsequently approved by those appropriate groups.
Per Appendix B of the 2017 NIMS Guideline for the National Qualification System:
“The [Qualification Review Board] is a vital element to review, vet, and certify individuals for incident management or support positions. A QRB reviews the training, skills, knowledge, experience, currency, and medical and physical fitness guidelines that individuals must achieve and maintain for position qualifications.”
