MADISON – Governor Scott Walker today approved a $2.8 million emergency contract to reconstruct two US 14 bridges in Black Earth damaged by flooding in August. Governor Walker declared a State of Emergency in Wisconsin on August 29, 2018 because of wide-spread flooding and storm damage in numerous counties.
COON VALLEY – Wisconsin homeowners and businesses impacted by the recent flooding will be eligible for financial assistance for repair, cleanup and other costs under two new programs that will provide up to $4 million in funding, Governor Scott Walker announced today.

MADISON – Governor Walker has requested the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) conduct a Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) in Wisconsin beginning September 24, 2018 for flood and tornado damage to homes, businesses and public infrastructure. This is the first step in requesting a federal disaster declaration.
